  • Theology Proper: the study of God’s attributes, nature, and relation to the world.
  • Biblical: the study and interpretation of the Bible.
  • Eschatology: the study of the end (end of history & afterlife)
  • Christology: the study of Jesus Christ.
  • Providence: the study of God’s sovereignty over people and history.
  • Ecclesiology: the study of church practices, structures, and history.
  • Pneumatology: the study of the Holy Spirit.
  • Soteriology: the study of salvation.
  • Hamartiology: the study of sin.
  • Anthropology: the study of man.

]]> Greg Boyd is an insightful theologian that I frequently reference. He has quite the academic background, graduating from Yale & Princeton. Greg was also the Professor of Theology at Bethel University for 16 years. He is the founder and senior pastor of Woodland Hills Church.
